Three days away from the Night Skate at Tenacity Skateboard Park in Slocan City.

I was at the Tenacity skate park today to see the results of the snow fall, and it

only had a small puddle or to on the bottom and kids were skating.

So Joanne Ellis and I agreed, if it turns out anything like today on the 30th

we can sweep/wipe up and  blown dry with large fans, we’ll be in business. I

will be there to set things up, and 2 DJ’s will be doing sound. So if you see that

the roads are plainly dry and it’s that kind of not so wet night, you can count

on it happening (the surrounding grounds of the park may be wet but not the concrete, the air dries it! So if you see the raad are dry).

And of course if it’s pouring, we’ll all know its off.

Until then were standing by with the lights and the organic

beef burgers order is on hold.  I will be  calling  a lot of local skaters

along the local network as the day draws nigh… we are at the

mercy of the elements,  hopefully they’ll reward us for gravity’s

sake. Time will surely tell.
