Mission:
To bring together Kootenay skateboarders through a unified calendar of Kootenay skateboard events in 2010.
Goals:
1. To have skateboarders travel to Kootenay communities to participate in skateboard events attaining points toward and overall trophy in their age category. Under 14, 15+(Open), Old School Rulers and Womens
2. To have Kootenay Communities support the skateboarding youth by coming out to as many events as possible throughout the series.
*****If you wish to be a supporter you can collect a card for this purpose….ideal for Mum and Dad, Bro or Sis******
Points System:
50 points per event for participating + Event position points on a sliding scale 1st=10, 2nd=9, 3rd=8, 4th=7, 5th=6
Event locations:
SALMO, SLOCAN VALLEY, KASLO, NELSON, INVERMERE, CASTLEGAR AND TRAIL
Each event is individually sponsored and run but is sanctioned as part of the series.

Email bcskateboarding@live.com and we will register you for the 2010 Kootenay Skateboard Series.
When you come to an event we will give you your card (it is business card size!).
