Bio

I started taking skateboard photography seriously in 2000 after I had graduated college in San Diego. I started off shooting for Automatic Magazine and worked closely with them. We did some fun projects and I worked my way to becoming their photo editor.
In 2005 I changed things up and moved to Oakland and began working freelance. Over the years I’ve done projects and editorial for Slap, Skateboarder, TWS, Thrasher, and The SkateboardMag.
Recently I’ve been focusing time working with Lowcard Magazine doing photography and I’ve now entered the video realm side of things as well.
Last year I got an itch to do a little side thing for fun and it ended up being Kobrah Magazine. It’s still fun and rewarding putting out what you see fit and I’ve been getting lots of positive feedback.

What I feel for skateboarding?
I love it! The culture, the camaraderie, the adventures, and the sense of accomplishment when landing a trick. Skating is the shit!!

Thanks Tadashi
