Our Purpose:

To build positive relationships between skateboarders and their communities by highlighting skateboarding’s benefits for young and old.

To bring skateboarders together to share in the fun and excitement of skateboarding.

To educate non-skateboarders about the healthy outcomes of skateboarding as a lifestyle choice.

To consult with local municipal officials about the benefits of coaching programs/camps/mentors at their local skate park.

To connect skateboard companies with grassroot’s skateboarding associations and organizations by sharing contacts.

Our Vision:

Assist in the promotion of local skateboard events through the kootenayskateboardseries.org.

Document the activity and progression of localized skateboarders and their organizations by video.

Post important local community skateboarding events/achievements on this blog.

Host skateboarding workshops.

Manage skateboarding programs in local communities.

Our Long Term Goal:

To see the acceptance of skateboarding in all communities across British Columbia.
