bcskateboarding.org is a non profit entity inspired to unite British Columbia’s skateboarding groups.

Our Purpose:

To build positive relationships between skateboarders and their communities.
To celebrate the spirit of skateboarding through multimedia productions.
To elevate the level of understanding of skateboarding as a healthy active lifestyle choice.
To encourage newcomers to feel safe in their local skateparks.
To connect skateboard industries together through pro active communications.
To network with established skateboard coalitions and associations throughout Canada.

Our Vision:

Assist in the promotion of local and provincial skateboard events.
Provide a forum for localized skateboard groups to voice themselves.
Develop and introduce skateboarding programs into the school curriculum.
Inform community groups of skateboarding progression.

Our Long Term Goal:

To work alongside the skateboarding community to develop safety and education as key components of the sport.
