Somethings Fishy 2013

Switchback Longboards is putting on The Somethings Fishy race for 2013! It’s back! April.28 near Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island. Checkout the edit that Braden Tibbles put together that shows a good chunk of the course. Some of you know the hill, most don’t. Tight left right away, swoopy fast sweepers for drafting, flat and fast right into a steep section before a extra fast left. Basically awesome.
This will be an outlaw race! …but there will be hay in the corners. Plan accordingly.
See yall soon! Thanks to Longboards RayneLoaded BoardsS&J SalesFlatspot Longboard ShopAimless SkateDouglas Metal Works for sponsoring the event. CASH PODIUM!!!

MORE INFO FROM THE ORGANIZERS:

Yes! its time we did another event. And its time for a competition at Vancouver’s newest and grarliest park. The ‘pool’ at Kensington. This bowl is based on the concept of skating empty pools made popular in the late 70′s in California. Its got really tight transitions, concrete coping and a lot of vert! Therefor this event should differ from any other bowl contests we’ve seen around these parts. We’ve got all the right sponsors helping us out with this and look forward to a crazy day of skating.
