A warm day greeted the 30+ riders for the third Gnar in the Gar.
Beginning with the Grom Girls the crowd were treated to some smooth style. At the end of their runs Adelle Campbell from Castlegar nudged ahead of Linda Reitan of Castlegar followed by Libby Hartel of Blewitt.
The under 14 riders from Slocan, Nelson, Blewitt, Salmo and Castlegar rolled next. A tight battle insued with Cosmo Rich of Nelson taking the win followed by an equal second between Kenton Riebalkin of Castlegar and Levi Peirson of Winlaw.
DJ E-Lev-8 fired up the beats and the fun times continued into the hot afternoon.
The 15+ riders from Rossland, Nelson and Castlegar put on a high level trick display. Tross aka Rossland Jesus shredded his way through the two runs, along with Stephan of Nelson, Cody Pottery and Trevor Frame both of Castlegar. After a three way tie for second organizers gave Stephan, Cody and Tross another minute to show their stuff. In the end Trevor flew into first followed by Stephan in second and Cody third.

Two BMX riders, Chester Mair and Tanner McNeil, rode for 5 minutes. Chester showed off his technical skills while Tanner just outright boosted all transitions and the bowl. First went to Tanner.
