In the summer of 1999, Ian Comishin takes his homegrown skateboard company on tour across western Canada. With 4 skateboarders, 2 bands and 1 portable skateboard park, they traveled 2800 kms in 2 vans to put on 8 shows in 11 days with next to no money. Hicks on Sticks is a film about passion, skateboarding, music, and friendship.

The Film Fatties 2 Vancouver premiere has been set to 8pm on Saturday, November 27th downtown at the Granville 7 Cinemas (855 Granville St.). The L.A. Skate Film Festival is an international film festival dedicated to putting the limelight on skateboard filmmakers. Nominated movies will be publicly screened in Los Angeles, California on August 31st and September 1st, 2010. An awards ceremony to announce the winners will be held in Hollywood, California on September 2nd, 2010.
