Kinnaird Youth Indoor Skatepark

Submitted Story from KYIS:

With over 100 unique skateboarders using the KYIS over the last 4 months we are thrilled this indoor space proved fun for young and older skaters from Castlegar and surrounding communities.
Big thanks to all the volunteer supervisors: Dave Morrison, Deb krahn, Skylar Parent, Ben P. Also extend our gratitude to Al, Morris, Rob, Matt Fontes and all the Kinnaird Park Community Church board for having the foresight to nurture Castlegar’s skateboarding culture under their roof over the winter months.
We are waiting to hear to here back on a CBT grant for the 2012/13 season. Never the less come late August we will be doing some interior painting, artwork and other upgrades. If you are interested in being involved keep following us through facebook.com/groups/261510373882506/

Enjoy the summer!
